It has been over four years now since Holden joined our family. His journey started off bumpy and he's had to overcome some health challenges. But the Little Monkey continues to fight his way to becoming strong and healthy. We are so blessed to have him as our son. He inspires us and melts our hearts every day. Thank you for joining us on this journey. We've appreciated everyone's thoughts and prayers.

Holden Visits Granma Deda and her Brevard Friends

Holden's summer travels continued as we headed to the mountains of NC to visit Granma Deda and meet many of her friends. Granma planned a picnic at the Pisgah National Forest. It was the perfect location and an all-round beautiful day. Holden made friends of all ages! A special thank you to all our new friends for the thoughts and prayers you've been saying for Holden all these months. You are all so kind!!

After lunch, the kids enjoyed rides in Holden's little red car. Holden is walking with a little help and is now starting to take a step or two with no support!

We stayed in the Bear Cave cabin at the Cabins of Seven Foxes in Lake Toxaway. The cabin was adorable and the area is beautiful. It was a nice
change to be able to rock Holden to sleep on the porch swing while listening to the Cicada sing. Daddy took Holden and Alex for a walk each morning. The grounds had so much to see and do. Holden saw goats and had fun in the swing.

It was a great weekend with Granma and friends. We look forward to going back again soon!
